Last of the highly-regarded Anthony Mann-James Stewart Westerns, with Will Lockhart (Stewart) tracking down the bad guys who caused his younger brother's death.
It was shot around Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico, and largely at Bonanza Creek Ranch, 15 Bonanza Creek Lane, about eight miles southwest of Santa Fe itself. Formerly the Jarrott Ranch, The Man From Laramie was the first film shot here but the ranch has gone on to host filming for The Cowboys, Cowboys and Aliens, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Ace In The Hole, Young Guns and more.
