Lacombe, Lucien | 1974
Lacombe is a young peasant who, on being turned down by the Resistance, drifts into collaboration with the Nazis, and ultimately pays the price.
The film's setting is the town of Figeac, standing on the Cele River at the junction of the N140, N122, D122 and D653 roads in the north of the Midi-Pyrenees region. 45 miles northwest of Rodez, the historic town has an 11th century church and a mint dating from the 13th century.
