More Nineties hip post-modern schlock irony, from a script by Scream’s Kevin Williamson, directed by indie-meister Robert Rodriguez. Teen comedy meets sci-fi horror as students suspect that their high school teachers are deadly aliens (yeh, didn't we all?).
Set in ‘Ohio’, the movie was shot (well this is a Rodriguez film) in Texas, at Lockhart (‘The Barbeque Capital of Texas’), and also at state capital Austin and in San Marcos.
‘Herrington High’ is the Texas School for the Deaf, 1102 South Congress Avenue, Austin.
