Entertaining Mr Sloane location: the old house: Camberwell Old Cemetery, Honor Oak, London

For the film , this is Camberwell Old Cemetery in Honor Oak, south London.

The lodge where Kath (Beryl Reid) entertains Mr Sloane (Peter McEnery) stands at the entrance to the cemetery on Forest Hill Road, opposite Marmora Road, SE22.

The cemetery is the last resting place of Detective Inspector Jonathan Whicher, one of the original eight members of London Metropolitan Police's Detective Branch, established in 1842 at Scotland Yard. The inspiration for countless fictitious detectives, he was immortalised in Kate Summerscale's 2008 book The Suspicions of Mr Whicher and the subsequent television series starring Paddy Considine.

Across from the cemetery, by the way, is Therapia Road, which is the site of the parents' house the kids make their way to in 28 Weeks Later...
