This golf course farce is raised to memorable status by the energy and improvising of a (then) young, and on the way up, cast. The ‘Bushwood Country Club’, supposedly in ‘Nebraska’ was Rolling Hills Golf and Tennis Club, which is now Grande Oaks Golf Club, 3501 West Rolling Hills Circle at South West 36th Street, Davie, about ten miles from downtown Fort Lauderdale, in sunny Florida.
The waterside hi-jinks filmed at the Boca Raton Hotel and Country Club, 501 East Camino Real in the wealthy coastal resort of Boca Raton, north of Fort Lauderdale.
It's not all Florida, though. As so often happens, there are a few glimpses Los Angeles. Over on the Westside, just north of the campus of the University of California, the West Gate into Bel-Air, on the northern side of Sunset Boulevard at Bellagio Road, stands in for the entrance to 'Bushwood'.
And the house of house of Danny Noonan (Michael O’Keefe) is 232 North Avenue 54, at Montevista Street, in Highland Park – the area of the bloody aftermath of the robbery in Reservoir Dogs.
