This dated sex farce turned Dudley Moore into a diminutive sex symbol and Ravel’s Bolero into the soundtrack for hot sex.
It’s set in a pretty upscale Los Angeles, where lustful George Webber (Moore) lives at 777 Ledo Way, in très swanky Bel Air. It's a very private house hidden behind thick hedges, so there's nothing to see.
He first claps eyes on the buxom Jenny Hanley (Bo Derek) in All Saints Episcopal Church, 504 Camden Drive at Santa Monica Boulevard in Beverly Hills.
The Mexican scenes were filmed at the luxury resort of Puerto Las Hadas, on the Bay of Manzanillo, Mexico. The beach scenes are the nearby cove of Playa Audiencia.
There was more filming at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, 300 East Green Street, Pasadena (also seen as a ‘Baltimore’ concert hall in Red Dragon and as the venue for Bette Midler’s concert movie Divine Madness).
