Halloween H20: 20 Years Later | 1998
Twenty years after the events of John Carpenter's original Halloween, Michael Myers tracks down his sister laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) now the, understandably, disturbed and alcoholic head of 'Hillcrest Academy', a private school.
The fictitious town of 'Summer Glen' is the Main Street of the city of La Puente, about 20 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.
The school itself is a mansion complex built for film star Antonio Moreno in the Twenties. For many years it was a Franciscan convent, and it’s now abandoned. Only the wrought iron gates and the gatehouse are visible. The Canfield-Moreno Residence and Complex, at 1923 Micheltorena Street in Silverlake, is also used in Scream 3 and more recently in Nicolas Winding Refn's bizarro 2016 The Neon Demon.
