Hi jinks at a Los Angeles car wash, scripted by Joel Schumacher, and causing major traffic problems when the Pointer Sisters did their big number.
The ‘De Luxe Car Wash’, an existing facility kitted out with all modern gimmicks, stood on the southeast corner South Rampart Boulevard at Sixth Street, near Lafayette Park, downtown LA. It’s since been demolished and replaced by a strip mall.
