New York: Flights: JFK Airport
Prizzi's Honor location: the apartment of mob boss Don Corrado: Pierrepoint Place, Brooklyn
Charley Partanna (Jack Nicholson) and Irene Walker (Kathleen Turner) are mob hitpeople, falling in love but hired to rub each other out in John Huston’s wonderful black comedy. The NYC neighbourhood is Brooklyn Heights, the same well-to-do Italian-American community seen in Moonstruck.
Prizzi's Honor location: Charley sees Irene at the wedding: Church of St Ann and the Holy Trinity, Brooklyn
The opening wedding scene, where Charley first lays eyes on Irene, is at the Church of St Ann and the Holy Trinity, now a performing arts centre, at the northwest corner of Montague and Clinton Streets.
The reception, where Charley asks Irene to dance, is at Grand Prospect Hall, 263 Prospect Avenue, Park Slope in Brooklyn, seen also in Francis Ford Coppola’s The Cotton Club.
Prizzi's Honor location: the apartment of Charley Partanna: Breukelen Apartments, Montague Street, Brooklyn
Mob chief Don Corrado (William Hickey) lives at nearby 2 and 3 Pierrepoint Place, while Charley’s apartment, with its great view of the Brooklyn Bridge, is the Breukelen Apartments, across the road at 57 Montague Street.
He contemplates marriage or murder on the nearby Brooklyn Heights Promenade.
